Open Sundays 2pm-5pm or by appointment for groups.
Housed in the old fire station built in 1895. The historical society museum has a collection which includes historic kitchenware, handwriting, cameras, shoes, clocks, typewriters and travel goods to name a few. Wangaratta Cemetery Walk With the first plot of the current Wangaratta Cemetery being used 150 years ago the council have marked the anniversary by producing a brochure which points out some of the interesting residents, including bushranger Mad Dog Morgan

The gallery presents a relevant, diverse and changing visual arts program, consisting of national, state & regional exhibitions, including local artists, touring exhibitions and joint ventures with the public galleries sector in Victoria. Built in the mid 1880’s, this hotel is renowned for its intriguing antiques and nostalgic décor. The historic cellars hold many a tale of daring escapes by the infamous Ned Kelly and other notorious characters.
